Gridjit, But Don’t Boompaste

Firewatching developed two apps, Gridjit and Boompaste, and proved sometimes you get it right, sometimes you get it wrong.

I’ve just stumbled upon Gridjit, a fun app from Firewatching Media. You can basically see your twitter friends activity in a more gridded way:

Firewatching has developed another Web app called Boompaste, a php page showing the feeds of a variety of different sources, like Digg, Reddit, Newsvine, Slashdot, etc…

Boompaste is the best way to follow buzz on the web. It is a social media aggregator that tracks hundreds of blogs, social networks, and news sites to bring the best links to you. Boompaste is a brand new service, and there is a lot more on the way, so stay tuned.

There’d better be more on the way, because gathering feeds on a page isn’t what I call “the best way to follow the buzz on the web”.
