Google social strategy is a social networks mashup

I spend +10 hours everyday on social networks, looking for ways to optimize their interconnections to the max. In this frame of thought, I discovered today a little addition to Google profiles: it is now possible to feed your photos with your Flickr account, or even better yet, with any photo RSS feed. This enables users to create more appealing Google profiles without being forced to sign up to Picasa and upload pics there.

So if we sum this up, you can feed your Google buzz with third-party status services, you can feed your Google profile pictures with Flickr, so in the end, Google’s social strategy seems to be nothing but a good ol’ mashup of social networks picked based on a political choice (otherwise Facebook would obviously be more predominant).
