Elite Startups

Seedstars World organizes this entrepreneurship conference held from April 1 to 5 at the Swiss Tech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland.

“We consider ourselves a team of elite athletes in this part of the world, and we come to win. We are not just an accelerator; we do not want to give a new face to emerging markets, “said Alise de Tonnac, founder of this initiative.

The event centers on emerging markets and in this sixth edition, more than 60 new companies from Asia, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe participated.

Seedstars’ initiative searched in 88 countries, through 100 events and after reviewing 800 applications of entrepreneurs from around the world, to the best entrepreneurial idea to grant 500 thousand dollars in investment through equity.

Investment and training

In addition to the award, the summit includes workshops, round tables and talks focused on four specific verticals that seek to provide permanent solutions for billions of people in precarious situations around the world.

Entrepreneurs received workshops and one-on-one meetings with investors from all over the world willing to mentor them and forge 50 million dollars in participation agreements called “soft agreements.”
