An Argentine start-up wins the Seedstars contest

The Argentine start-up Blended, led by Federico Hernández, won the Seedstars contest and will now receive $500K for equity.

Last week the Seedstar Summit 2019 was held in Lausanne, Switzerland. The event brought together entrepreneurs from 12 startups from emerging economies to compete for the seed capital of $500K. Among the competitors were four Latin American startups. And one of them was the winner.

Federico Hernández, CEO of Blended, was the winner in the Seedstars contest. Blended is an application that keeps parents in close contact with their children’s schools.

Hernández presented his pitch to an audience made up of entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors. On this experience, he said:

“It is a great pride to have won this global startups competition and reflects the quality of entrepreneurs we have in Latin America. It has to help people who wish to be entrepreneurs to do it because there is capital willing to invest in all of us and we have to take the risk, “said Federico Hernández.
