The Institute of Entrepreneurship Eugenio Garza Lagüera of Tec de Monterrey is now one of the 3,000 organizations in the world that help create, launch and scale startups through Amazon Web Services.

The Tec de Monterrey and Amazon Web Services (AWS) will collaborate to support more than 500 Mexican startups with free access and up to $ 10,000 in credits in the global cloud service platform of AWS.

AWS Activate program for Mexican startups

Through the AWS Activate program, startups will receive credits for simple and low-cost web services for entrepreneurs. This will mean support to scale and grow your company with digital solutions.

The startups in incubation process will receive up to $ 5,000, while those in the process of acceleration may request up to $ 10,000 valid for two years.

Among the tools offered by AWS are machine learning, internet of things, GameTech and big data.

The selected companies will also enjoy exclusive discounts, support in attracting customers from marketing assistance and advertising services, linkage with other companies and exposure within AWS platforms and events.

The entrepreneurs benefited may be both students and graduates of the Tec de Monterrey and other educational institutions that have passed or are going through an incubation process or acceleration of companies within the entrepreneur ecosystem of the Entrepreneurship Institute Eugenio Garza Lagüera (IEEGL).

“This alliance allows entrepreneurs to develop their businesses on a world-class platform. One of our commitments as an institute is to bring the necessary tools so that Mexican entrepreneurs can generate value proposals that can revolutionize industries, “said Hugo Garza, director of the IEEGL of Tec de Monterrey.
