• 2015, IT-Universitetet i København, Master degree in Information Technology
Tony Beltramelli: Early days
Tony Beltramelli entered the world of artificial intelligence during his undergraduate studies at the IT University of Copenhagen and in the master’s degree studies at ETH Zurich.
Beltramelli’s research on machine learning applications has been globally recognized by international media such as Wired, Forbes, THP, TNW.
Tony Beltramelli: Career
In 2016, Beltramelli’s master’s thesis drew widespread attention to exploring the ability that wearables such as smartwatches can have to get a person’s password through registered movements of the wrist. With the accelerometer of the devices and with the help of neural networks, the system developed by Beltramelli managed to obtain the password typed on an iPad with 59% accuracy, while the password typed on a touchscreen was obtained with 73% accuracy.
After working as a software engineer and data scientist, Tony Beltramelli founded Uizard Technologies in 2017. This Copenhagen startup uses machine learning and computer vision to help both designers and software developers to build better products.
The Pix2Code app, created by Uizard Technologies, uses trained neural networks to transform screenshots into lines of code. Just an image provided by a designer to automatically convert it into code that is also compatible with Android, IOs, and web-based technologies. The app has shown an accuracy of 77%,
The goal of Tony Beltramelli is to improve with these machine-based learning solutions the workflow in web/app development that is sometimes tedious and boring.
