Tod Sacerdoti, founder of Pipedream, has an interesting post detailing how to create a tweet that auto-updates itself.
This tweet updates itself…https://t.co/FwNRzUaxtu

Technically, Twitter doesn’t allow this type of automated content generation trick. There are no features in the Twitter platform to “legally” perform this stunt. But Tod Sacerdoti’s work-around is more of a grey-hat hack that could actually lead to creative ideas and new ways to tweet. For example, it would seem like a nice feature for petitions and fundraising campaigns.
In this case, since the author of this hack just wants to display tweet metrics within a tweeted image, the Twitter Tweet Metrics API and the flexible Card Validator are used to respectively extract metrics data and inject the updated image within the tweet’s meta. The author of the hack used Pipedream and Dev.to to build his hackflow.
